There are steps that you should complete before you begin building a boat using resin infusion to make sure that every thing runs smoothly. The first step is to make a "mold" which will be the form to shape the boat. Next up, a unique release agent is applied to the interior surface of the mold, so that the boat can come out easily after the boat is formed. Then fiberglass fabric is painstakingly cut to the exact shape of the mold, and all the pieces are arranged in the correct orientation. Then goes a vacuum bag over the mold, which is pressed down tightly. Inside, this forms a vacuum, and the next step is dependent on this. When the bag is under full vacuum, resin is pumped into it using a tube system. After that, the vacuum pulls the resin through the fiberglass layers, making sure everything receives a good dose, and the boat emerges full, strong, and ready for the water.
