Unite as One for Development, Embrace Changes and Start a New Journey —President Working Conference of UPR Branch Successfully Held in Shanghai

  On April 20, 2026, the 7th President Working Meeting of the 16th Council of the UPR Branch of China Synthetic Resin Association was successfully held in Shanghai.

 

  The meeting gathered core representatives from all council member companies nationwide. Focusing on key issues of industrial development, participants discussed approaches to high-quality industrial development. Mr. Lu Xudong, President of Fangxin Resin Group, was invited to attend and participate in exchanges and discussions.

 

  At the opening of the meeting, Secretary-General Zhai Jiye delivered a key work report. The report comprehensively reviewed the overall operation of China’s unsaturated polyester resin industry in 2025, conducted an in-depth analysis of the current industry situation from multiple perspectives including production capacity, output, market supply and demand, price trends and technological innovation, and objectively summarized existing challenges and opportunities.

 

  Meanwhile, against changes in the international situation, Secretary-General Zhai highlighted the potential impacts of the Iran-US conflict on the global chemical industrial chain, raw material supply, market trade pattern and domestic UPR industry development. The report provided professional references for enterprises to accurately judge market trends and formulate scientific business strategies.

 

  The discussion session was active and practical. Representatives from each council company shared practical achievements and experience in production & operation, technological R&D and market expansion in 2025 based on their actual business conditions. They thoroughly discussed common industry problems, fully exchanged views on key topics such as capacity optimization, green transformation, technological cooperation and market compliance, reached consensus on development, and laid a solid foundation for coordinated industrial development.

 

  During the exchange, Mr. Lu Xudong, President of Fangxin Resin Group, stated that the industry is currently at a critical period with both opportunities and challenges. Against the backdrop of volatile international situation and domestic industrial upgrading, enterprises should adhere to innovation and strengthen industrial chain coordination.

  Fangxin Resin will continue to focus on the UPR sector, pursue both technological innovation and green development, continuously improve core product competitiveness, actively fulfill industrial responsibilities. Together with industry partners, we will cope with market changes and jointly promote China’s UPR industry to a new stage of higher-quality development.

 

  The successful holding of this meeting built an important platform for efficient communication, consensus building and coordinated development. It further clarified the industry development direction and strengthened cooperation among enterprises.
