Grasp Global Market Trends, Jointly Map Overseas Development: Chairman's Working Meeting of the Unsaturated Polyester Resin Sub-Association Held in Shanghai

On November 6, 2025, the 6th Working Meeting of the 16th Chairman of the Unsaturated Polyester Resin Sub-Association of China Synthetic Resin Association was successfully held in Shanghai. With the theme of "Analyze Current Situation, Address Challenges, Improve Efficiency", the meeting focused on the international development of China's unsaturated polyester resin industry and conducted in-depth, practical industry exchanges.

The core session of the meeting was a special report titled "Analysis and Future Development of the Unsaturated Resin Export Market" delivered by Mr. Zhai Jiye, Secretary-General of the Unsaturated Polyester Resin Sub-Association of China Synthetic Resin Association. Based on detailed data and in-depth research, Secretary-General Zhai's report presented a clear "overseas expansion roadmap" for the industry to the participants.

The report systematically reviewed China's unsaturated polyester resin export data from 2020 to 2025. Through vertical comparison, it clearly showed the growth trajectory and fluctuation cycle of export volume over the past five years. In the subsequent sharing session involving more than ten key industry enterprises, the person in charge of each enterprise launched a heated discussion based on the actual export data in 2025. Everyone shared first-hand information in exploring the international market, including insights into demand changes in different regional markets, experience in dealing with exchange rate fluctuations and rising shipping costs, as well as judgments on the future global market pattern.

Participating enterprises generally believed that although the external environment is full of challenges, China's unsaturated polyester resin industry still has huge opportunities in the international market relying on its complete industrial chain and continuously improving technical strength. The common insight is that in the future, it is necessary to shift from "price competition" to "value competition". Through continuous technological innovation, develop more environmentally friendly and efficient special resin products, and build a digital and agile foreign trade operation system, so as to occupy a more favorable position in the global value chain.
